About Us
We are a family business operating from a small but packed shop just
outside the village of Stubbington, near Fareham in Hampshire.
We started the company in February 2005 after trying to find useful equipment for a disabled relative. We endeavour to source products from within the UK although this has become increasingly more difficult. Our "Best of British" include:
- The MollybatherTM bath lift manufactured in Trowbridge
- Cosyfeet, extra roomy shoes and slippers from their home in Street, Somerset
- Barret Wheelchairs in Halifax, Yorkshire
- AJWay seating specialists in High Wycombe, and
- Brooks Stairlifts in Steeton, West Yorkshire
We provide a friendly, customer-centred service based on a strict ethical trading policy set out below:
If you invite us into your home for demonstration purposes
- We will talk to you beforehand to assess your needs
- We will show you the best product for you not the best product for us
- We will inform you of the price of the goods and any accessories upfront
- We will not outstay our welcome
- We will never use high-pressure selling techniques
- Our reputation is very important to us, and we want you to be completely satisfied, and recommend us to your friends.
(Please note many of our products can be supplied VAT free to disabled people and those with a diagnosed medical condition.)
Wherever possible, we have tried our products although believe customer feedback is essential to ensuring the continued success of our business.
We are constantly looking for new and interesting products that enable people to live the fullest life possible. The shop is packed full with everything from a ferrule to fit on the smallest walking stick through to the most advanced mobility scooters.
A visit to our shop will always be of interest, often beneficial and guaranteed to be friendly.
